Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a generic term for technologies that use radio waves to automatically identify people or objects. It commonly works with a computer information system as advanced means to control or manage terminal articles or people.
RFID is composed of microchip and antenna with various encapsulations to adapt different environment in application. The antenna enables the chip to communicate the identification information to a reader in air by contactless digital information transfer. For long lifespan and low cost thinking, most of the RFID products in common use are passive RFID, meaning no battery enclosed and the power comes from the corresponding frequency wave energy of reader.
RFID ISO card (credit card size) is the most widely used transponder in RFID identification and access control applications. The RFID card provides the ideal surface for pre-printing or printing by our customers.
The core technology of RFID cards is the antenna creation, the chip embedding and the chip and antenna connection. Today, Thermal Compression Bonding (TCB) of wire to chip and the wire embedding technology is state of the art in the manufacturing process of High Frequency (HF) cards.
Our contactless cards are available with HIGH, LOW and ULTRAHIGH frequency bandwidth. They consist of a core inlay embedded in two covers made from PVC, PC or PET-G. Variables, such as the size of the antenna and dimensions of the support or encasements, are adapted to specific customer requirements.
To give the customer optimum security and compatibility this technology is certified in accordance
with the existing ISO Standards:
- LF ISO 11784, 11785
- HF ISO 14443, 15693
- UHF ISO 18000
